Ross Lippman is a Sports Anchor/Reporter at ABC 27 News, joining in October 2015.
A native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Ross is excited to set new roots covering your favorite teams and players in the Midstate.
Ross joins ABC 27 after working for two years in Burlington, Vermont at the ABC and Fox affiliates. There, he covered countless high school teams in the region, as well as some of the best college hockey the nation has to offer.
He entered the news world after earning a degree in broadcast journalism at Emerson College. There, he received an Emmy Award for his reporting as well as the Jim Nantz Award in 2013, recognizing the nation’s top collegiate sportscaster.
A lover of the stories that unfold in sports, Ross is always looking for the moments that make you say, “It couldn’t have been scripted better in a movie!”
When he’s not running up and down the sidelines with a camera over his shoulder, Ross is constantly exploring the outdoors. An avid hiker and rock climber (a trade he picked up in Vermont), Ross might end up going where cell phone service doesn’t. But don’t worry, he’ll tweet out a picture of the view when he gets back.
