She started a weekly “Restaurant Report” segment to increase access to restaurant inspections from the Department of Agriculture. She also launched and is co-host of ABC27’s podcast, On Deadline.

The Associated Press has honored Amanda with several awards, including the First Amendment Award for broadcast due to her “fierce determination to hold public and private officials accountable and to uncover information that was truly in the public interest.”

Amanda is an active supporter of Boys and Girls Club and American Heart Association. When she’s not at work, she enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, and keeping her five younger brothers in line.
