Amanda is thrilled to have the opportunity to live and work in the area where she grew up. After graduating from Cumberland Valley High School, Amanda went to Syracuse University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a dual B.A. in broadcast & digital journalism and international relations.
Amanda has always loved investigative reporting. While working in Toledo, Ohio, she exposed flaws in the state vaccination tracking system that allowed students’ health information to slip through the cracks. She also uncovered fraudulent expenses in the City of Toledo.
At ABC 27, Amanda has continued to hold Midstate leaders accountable through her reporting about increased costs of higher education, nursing home problems, and public expenses.
The Associated Press has honored Amanda with several awards, including “Best Reporter” for the year 2014.
Amanda is an active supporter of Boys and Girls Club and American Heart Association. When she’s not at work, she enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, and keeping her five younger brothers in line.
