Firefighters battle 2-alarm blaze in Carlisle

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — One person is being treated for minor injuries after an early morning fire.

The resident of the home was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation, according to the fire chief. It was originally reported as an oven fire.

The fire is out, but crews remain on the scene near G and Factory Streets in Carlisle. There may be traffic backups in the area.

Firefighters are working to put out a two alarm fire in Cumberland County.

The fire, reported around 5:15 a.m., is on the 200 block of G Street in Carlisle, according to an emergency dispatch supervisor.

No injuries have been reported.
