Lancaster woman scammed out of hundreds, scam claimed to offer bank loans

NEW PROVIDENCE, Pa. (WHTM)- A 62-year-old woman called police after being scammed out of 900-dollars from July through August.

According to a police report, the scam was offering bank loans.

Police say the scammer would request small activation fees, first-month payment and transfer fees.

The woman paid the fees with iTunes gift cards.
