Harrisburg police investigate shooting, one injured

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)- Harrisburg police are investigating a shooting after a call of shots fired in the area of Jefferson and Woodbine Streets.

Officers were called to 7th and Maclay Streets around 3:30 Saturday morning.

Police were advised that a victim was located at the gas station at N 7th and MaClay Streets with a gunshot wound to the hip.

Officers spoke with the victim who advised he was leaving the Clover Club walking through the Kennedy Fried Chicken Lot, at which point he heard shots ring out. They say the victim began running for safety.

A crime scene was located in the lot of Kennedy Fried Chicken with multiple casings recovered and vehicles damaged.

The victim was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment and was last reported to be in fair condition.

This is an ongoing investigation.
