Weather service issues storm watches, warnings

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WHTM) – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. for several counties in central Pennsylvania.

The counties include Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, Juniata, Mifflin, and Perry.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for southwestern Mifflin County until 2:45 p.m..

The weather service said at 1:44 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Allensville to near Huntingdon, moving east at
20 mph.
