HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – PNC brought its childhood initiative Grow Up Great to the Midstate on Tuesday.
PNC teamed up with Capital Area Head Start on the project.
Employee volunteers went to Foose Elementary School to work with students. PNC also held a book drive to give out pre-K books and puppet kids around the area.
“There’s no greater investment that any of us can make than making sure that kids are prepared to learn, grow up, and be successful in their lives,” PNC regional president Jim Hoehn said.
This is the 13th year for PNC’s Grow Up Great program. It’s also given grants across the state to improve school readiness for kids 5 and younger.
