2 injured in Harrisburg home invasion

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for two men who forced their way into a city home late Tuesday.

Investigators said the intruders kicked in a front door in the 400 block of South 13th Street then assaulted two people and threatened them with a handgun.

The residents were taken to Harrisburg Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

Officers surrounded and searched the building when they responded to the incident around 10:30 p.m., but the suspects were no longer in the home.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
