Audubon Society PA- The Great Backyard Bird Count

The Great Backyard Bird Count is in its 20th year and is now an international Citizen Science program that encourages people to look out their window over Presidents Day weekend and count the birds they see in their yard. Birdfeeders makes this event especially enjoyable and the information gathered and entered online is actually used by scientists to track bird populations.

Carrie Barron and Amy Weidensaul were here with their friend, Conrad (a Blue Jay) to tell us about their event and participate in a Good Day PA bird identification challenge!
