Judge expected to rule Monday on Pa. recount

A federal judge is expected to make a ruling Monday on whether or not votes in the presidential election will be recounted in Pennsylvania.

The judge must make the ruling Monday because the state will certify its vote totals on Tuesday.

The Green Party requested a recount, arguing that the machines Pennsylvanians vote on have no paper trail and are prone to hacking. They gave no specific evidence of wrongdoing.

Officials said the Green Party candidate lacks the necessary standing to challenge an election result because any change will not make her the winner.

The Green Party also called Pennsylvania’s election system a “national disgrace.”

Lawyers for Donald Trump called the recount attempt a waste of time and money.
