Man arrested for robbery of Silver Spring gas station

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have arrested a suspect in the armed robbery of a Silver Spring Township gas station Sunday night.

Corey D. Miller, 19, of Mechanicsburg, was jailed Friday on charges of robbery, theft, simple assault, and related counts.

Miller is accused of robbing the Kwik Fill gas station in the 6400 block of Carlisle Pike. Police said he visited the store to exchange some coins for a $5 bill, then returned about three hours later with a 6- to 8-inch knife and demanded cash from the register.

He was placed in Cumberland County Prison on $150,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 21.
