Harrisburg Falls In State Football Final 37-10 to Archbishop Wood

Archbishop Wood scored 20 second half points on their way to a 37-10 win over Harrisburg in the 5A State football finals.   Harrisburg High trailed Archbishop Wood 17-10 at the half.  The Cougars scored on their second play from scrimmage, a 71 yard TD pass to Shaquon Anderson-Butts to give the Cougars a 7-0 lead.  Archbishop Wood scored 17 unanswered points, before Harrisburg added a field goal late in the half.   Archbishop Wood’s running game was the biggest factor in the second half to win 37-10.  It was their 4th state football championship
