Second suspect identified, wanted in Lancaster shooting

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster police have identified a second suspect in an October shooting.

Donald Vinson III, 19, is wanted on charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault, as well as two counts of violating the Uniform Firearms Act.

The charges stem from a shooting on Oct. 12 in the 600 block of South Queen Street that left a man with a single gunshot wound.

Investigators were told Vinson gave the gun used in the shooting to the other suspect, Lowell Foster. The gun has not been recovered by police.

Foster was arrested in Harrisburg a day after the shooting.

Vinson’s last known address was in the 800 block of Fourth Street in Lancaster.
