Satanic graffiti removed from Lancaster County church

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Satanic graffiti has been removed from a Lancaster County church.

Keystone Homes and Speedwell Construction cleaned the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Manheim Township after vandalism that included upside-down crosses and the number “666” were spray-painted on the cupola. The graffiti was discovered Sunday afternoon.

cy71zqfuoae0702-jpg-largeChurch administrator Michael Ploutz says the companies did the work for free.

“It restores your faith in mankind, if you will,” Ploutz said. “There are still people out there that see people have been done wrong and without purpose, and they’re willing to help out with their professional skills.”

Ploutz estimated it would have cost the church about $1,000 to clean the graffiti. He said the church has security cameras but nothing suspicious was recorded.
