HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A city man was arrested after police said he repeatedly rammed his wife’s minivan until it caught fire.

Oscar Contreras-Saldana, 29, is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment for the incident early Sunday in the 1700 block of Berryhill Street.

Police said Contreras-Saldana became angry when he found his wife and another man talking in her van. He used his truck to block them from leaving and the vehicles began pushing against each other.

When the van became disabled, Contreras-Saldana reportedly pulled in front of it and repeatedly rammed it. He fled when the van became engulfed in flames, but he confessed when officers found him in his home, police said.
