Harrisburg man charged in business robberies

LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) – Police on the East and West shore have charged a robbery suspect in following several incidents.

Joseph C. Richwine, a 55-year-old Harrisburg resident, was arrested Wednesday on charges stemming from incidents in Lemoyne that first started in January.

Richwine was identified as the suspect in robbery incidents at Mei Jian Bodycare that occurred on Jan. 29 and April 29. He was also wanted in a Nov. 11 incident at Carriage House Boutique.

The Susquehanna Township Police Department also charged Richwine in the robbery last Friday at Puff & Snuff on Walnut Street.

According to investigators, Richwine admitted to the robberies and targeted locations primarily on Fridays that had lone female employees working.

Police charged Richwine with robbery and assault. He is currently in Dauphin County Prison.
