Rainfall amounts at 5 p.m. Wednesday showed about a half inch for much of the area. The second round of rain is pushing through the state this evening, with additional rainfall between 0.2″ and 0.5″. Higher rainfall amounts are possible in Adams, York and Lancaster counties where bands of heavy rain (and thunder) may occur through 10pm this evening. We expect the rain to taper near 2AM, with decreasing fog and increasing winds before daybreak Thursday.
Thursday continues breezy and cooler with winds 10-15mph and afternoon temperatures reaching near 50F. The steady northwest breeze (5-15mph) is expected to last through Saturday along with dry conditions.
