HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – After 14 years of service in Lebanon County, Mauree Gingrich has officially retired.
The Republican state representative expressed her gratitude in an open letter to her constituents.
For all of its challenges, I will look back at my time in Harrisburg with great pride. It was challenging work, but it is rewarding when you see your efforts making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Thank you again for your support and encouragement over the years. It is my sincere hope that my service to you has made our slice of Lebanon County a better place to live and work. I wish you my very best.
In January, Gingrich announced that she’d retire at the end of her seventh two-year term.
Gingrich served in the 101st Legislative District, which included Lebanon, Cleona, Palmyra, and Mount Gretna.
Serving since 2003, Gingrich was one of only 32 women in the 203-member state House.
