HIGHSPIRE, Pa. (WHTM) – The Highspire Borough Police Department is asking for the public’s help in a bank robbery investigation.
The robbery happened Nov. 5 at the Citizens Bank on Second Street in Highspire.
The suspect entered the bank shortly before 10 a.m., demanding loose money from employees. He threatened he had a gun but did not display any weapons, police said.
After receiving cash, the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s or 30s, about 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, a black backpack, blue jeans, white and black sneakers, a black ski mask and black gloves at the time of the robbery.

Anyone able to provide information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect through surveillance photos provided by authorities is asked to submit a tip through Dauphin County Crime Stoppers online or call 1-800-262-6900.
Tips, which may be anonymous, can also be given to police by calling Dauphin County Dispatch at 717-558-6900.
Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
