Two separate systems moving in over the next two days will help make up for the top ten driest November Central PA is currently experiencing. It has been so dry lately that this rain will be a welcome sight for most…unless you have outdoor plans like hunting or hanging Christmas lights. The best time periods for rain over the next two days will come this morning and tomorrow morning. There will be a lull this evening and overnight with some fog formation. Some of the rain could be heavy at times through tomorrow with 1-2 inches expected until things wrap up tomorrow evening. The rain is not expected to cause flooding due to the recent dry spell. Perhaps curling up with a good book or wrapping Christmas presents early would be the best plans for the next two days. The one bright spot in the forecast: the temperatures! It will be very mild with highs in the lower to mid 60s today and tomorrow!
Thursday brings drying and breezy conditions as temperatures fall back into the lower 50s. The weekend is looking seasonable for the first few days of December with highs in the mid to upper 40s. It should be dry for most of the weekend before another round of rain arrives late Sunday night and lasts into next Monday.
