Lancaster man charged in pair of pharmacy robberies

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have charged a Lancaster man in two recent pharmacy robberies.

Malik Stewart, 22, was taken into custody after an attempted robbery Wednesday morning at the CVS on Lititz Pike.

A man, later identified as Stewart, placed a note and bag on the counter to demand the pharmacist provide him with all the available oxycodone without calling police, according to investigators.

Stewart was later arrested by responding officers and charged in an Oct. 11 robbery at the Walgreen’s on Lititz Pike.

During the earlier robbery, oxycodone was taken.

Stewart was charged with robbery and theft.
