Harrisburg shooting injures two people

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)- Around 2 a.m. Harrisburg Police responded to multiple calls for shots fired near and around the City Line Bar & Lounge.

When officers arrived at 2007 State Street they were confronted by a crowd of over two hundred people that were confrontational with police. Additional officers from other departments including the Pennsylvania State Police asked to help with crowd control.

Officers found a 25-year-old male and a 30-year-old female lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. EMS transported the man and woman to Hershey Medical Center and they were taken straight into surgery. A search of the area revealed that several vehicles were struck by gunfire in the 2000 block of Walnut Street.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
