Holiday craft show continues to grow, raise funds for March of Dimes

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – An annual arts and crafts show continues to honor the event’s inspiration.

Teri Bowermaster’s daughter, Hannah, passed away in 2005 from prematurity. She was alive for two days with help from the March of Dimes and the Harrisburg NICU.

Following Hannah’s death, Bowermaster and her family became advocates for the March of Dimes.

In 2008, Bowermaster and her mother started their first craft show as a fundraiser. What started in a small firehouse now fills the Carlisle Expo Center.

The Holiday Craft & Fine Art Show at the Carlisle Expo Center is now in its eight year.

The show is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All items are handmade in the United States of America.

Parking and admission are both free.
