Many deer hunters will be heading to camp this weekend and the forecast will be closely monitored for next week. Our weather team is looking beyond the next 7 days to provide an outlook for those who plan to spend time in the woods next week.
After a seasonably quiet holiday weekend, a gradual shift to milder conditions will begin next week. Monday morning features clear and calm conditions statewide before a strong storm system over the middle U.S. spreads clouds across the region by Monday afternoon.
This storm will produce a steady southerly breeze for Tuesday with a chance for showers later in the day. This front is showing signs of stalling across the state for Wednesday, leading to a period of steady rain for the middle of the week with highs approaching 60F.
We’ll continue to have updates on our weather page, so check back for more updates.
