Host Amy Kehm scoured the internet for some of the most practical and simple hacks to make Thanksgiving cooking easier.

  1. Use a paper plate as a hand mixer guard to prevent splattering
  1. Keep mashed potatoes warm in a slow cooker to clear stove space
  1. Put a towel over a stand mixer to prevent splattering
  1. Use a thermos as a gravy warmer to free up stove space
  1. Prevent the mixing spoon from falling into the bowl by using a rubber band

  1. Use square and rectangular pans in oven to maximize space
  1. Use cooler to keep foods warm until you are ready to serve
