Lancaster man arrested for delivering fatal dose of drugs

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A man is in Lancaster County Prison, accused of delivering a fatal dose of drugs.

Bayrex Ashuan Acevedo, a 37-year-old Lancaster resident, was arrested Wednesday and is charged with drug delivery resulting in death.

His arrest comes nearly two months after the death of Shannon Hartley. The 36-year-old was found dead by state police on Zartman Mill Road in Elizabeth Township on Sept. 28. His cause of death was determined as acute fentanyl toxicology.

Acevedo’s bail was set at $500,000.
