Penn State Beats Rutgers 39-0

Penn State scored 30 2nd half points, on their way to a 7th straight victory, 39-0 over Rutgers on Saturday night.  Penn State could only manage three first half field goals to take a 9-0 first half lead.  Penn State star running back Saquon Barkley left the game after taking a hard hit, but Coach James Franklin said after the game, that Barkley will play in next week’s game against Michigan State.

Penn State is now 9-2 overall, 7-1 in Big Ten play.  If Penn State beats Michigan State at Beaver Stadium next Saturday and Ohio State beats Michigan, the Nittany Lions will play for the Big Ten Championship on December 2nd
