York sleepout held to raise youth homelessness awareness

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Members of the community slept outside to raise awareness about youth homelessness.

The event was organized by Covenant House York. It is the newest shelter in the Midstate that specializes in helping homeless youth.

Participants were given a sleeping bag and a cardboard box and slept outside Friday night.
