One injured in auto-pedestrian accident

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – One man was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Harrisburg on Saturday.

The victim was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

The accident happened on Eisenhower Boulevard, near the Capitol Diner.

That road, between the diner and Harbor Freight Tools, was shut down as crews and investigators were on scene.

The Dauphin County Accident Reconstruction Team and Swatara Township Police responded to the scene.
