Today will be the nicest and warmest day of the week with temperatures climbing well into the 60s with lots of sunshine. Tomorrow will also be warm ahead of a potent cold front, but that front will bring some clouds and showers by tomorrow evening. The winds will also pick up tomorrow evening and will likely be the big weather story this weekend. It will turn colder by Sunday with high temperatures only around 40 degrees. There could be some snow showers Saturday night and during the day on Sunday too, but the bigger story will be the winds and colder temperatures rather than the precipitation. There could be some accumulating snow in western PA and the mountains, but most areas locally will only see a few flakes this weekend. Hanging Christmas lights? It may be best to hold off until next week when the winds calm down a bit.
The start of Thanksgiving week stays cool, with another chance for a few rain showers possible Wednesday night into Thanksgiving morning. The timing of the showers could still change, so check back for updates.
