Driver of speeding vehicle wanted in Harrisburg after injuring 10, fleeing scene

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police and emergency crews responded Friday evening to a crash involving 10 vehicles in the Allison Hill neighborhood of Harrisburg.

The crash happened at 13th and Derry streets around 6 p.m. when a vehicle driving at a recklessly high speed struck another car, became airborne, and then struck eight other vehicles, police said.

Ten people were injured.

Several victims were taken to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries. None of the injuries are life-threatening.

The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash fled the scene, police said.

No arrests have been made and Harrisburg police ask anyone with information about the driver to call 717-315-4581 to speak to an officer.
