Subway in Manchester Township robbed at knifepoint

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A masked man held a knife to an employee’s neck when he robbed a Subway restaurant in York County, police said.

Northern York County Regional police said the robbery occurred late Wednesday at the Subway at 351 Loucks Road, in Manchester Township.

The unknown robber walked behind the counter, put the knife to the employee’s neck, and ordered the worker to open the register. He then emptied the register of cash and fled, police said.

The employees and two customers were not harmed.

Police said they recovered a sweatshirt, mask, gloves, and a sheath for the knife. They also found cash on the ground.
