HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – With temperatures dropping outside, the Wolf Administration is reminding Pennsylvania residents that assistance is available for those in need of help when it comes to their heating bills.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program helps low-income families keep their homes warm during winter months.

Both renters and those who own their homes may be eligible.

LIHEAP is made possible because of a grant, meaning those receiving aid do not have to repay anything.

Applications can be completed online by visiting compass.state.pa.us. Paper applications are also available through local county assistance offices.
