Feds indict 2 for I-81 heroin, cocaine bust

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A federal grand jury has indicted two New York City men who were caught with heroin and cocaine during a traffic stop on Interstate 81, authorities said.

Jerry Fruit, 36, and Tykei Garner, 33, are charged with possession with the intent to distribute, U.S. Attorney Bruce Brandler said.

State police stopped their car on I-81 near Harrisburg on July 5 and found more than 100 grams of heroin, or about 4,000 individual doses, and an unspecified amount of cocaine.
