Get ready for another mix of sun and clouds today with a bit of a breeze at times as another disturbance moves through. It will be another mild day too with highs in the lower 60s. High pressure then builds in for the remainder of the work week with sunny skies and well above normal temperatures. Overnight lows will be in the 30s. Saturday remains mild, but a significant shift in the weather will come by the second half of the weekend. Later Saturday, a front will barrel through the Commonwealth with strong, gusty winds and some showers possible by Saturday evening. Once the cold air rushes in, however, there could be some snow showers north and west of Harrisburg overnight Saturday.
Sunday will be windy and cold with occasional snow showers, especially in higher elevations. Highs will only be in the lower 40s. Winds slowly decrease Monday but it will remain chilly early next week. The outlook for Thanksgiving shows another area of low pressure that could bring cold rain showers, possibly mixing with wet snow across northern PA. As always, we’ll keep you updated with any forecast changes going forward to Thanksgiving week.
