YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County company turned an interest in a shooting sport into thousands of dollars for Shriners Hospitals.
MKT Metal Manufacturing, an Emigsville metal fabricator, held a shooting clays fundraiser on Sept. 9 near Wellsville. The first-ever event attracted more than 60 shooters who helped contribute more than $8,300 to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
The check was presented Monday to a Shriners representative. The chain of hospitals treats children with severe injuries and deformities at no cost to their families.
