Pedestrian struck by police vehicle in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A pedestrian was struck by a police vehicle Monday night in Harrisburg.

Police were responding to a call around 8:20 p.m. when the vehicle turned onto North 3rd Street from Maclay Street, striking a pedestrian in the crosswalk.

The victim reported pain in her leg but was able to walk. She was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be fine, according to police.

The accident is under review and no other details have been made available by police.
