Harrisburg police: Man shot in neck will recover

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – City police say a man who was shot in the neck Monday night will recover from his injuries.

The man was treated at a hospital after the incident at 17th and Walnut streets. His name was not released.

Officers had responded to a report of shots fired around 11:30 p.m. and found blood on the ground. The victim arrived at a hospital a short time later.

Police said their investigation is ongoing and detectives expect to interview the victim when he is able to talk.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
