Powerball at $293M; $1M ticket sold in Ephrata

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) – The Powerball jackpot is closing in on $300 million for Wednesday’s drawing.

The jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $293 million, or $185 million cash, after Saturday’s drawing, the Pennsylvania Lottery said.

A ticket worth $1 million from the weekend drawing was sold in Ephrata, at the Sunoco in the 500 block of West Main Street.

The ticket correctly matched all five white balls drawn – 8, 17, 20, 27, and 52 – but not the red Powerball 24.

The store gets a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
