CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – A man is charged in Cumberland County after parents reported that he exposed himself to school buses full of children.
The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday Nov. 4 as school buses were traveling through Carlisle on the way back from a field trip.
Parents told police they were in the 700 block of South Hanover Street when they were headed to Crestview Elementary School. They saw a man approach the rear of the last school bus with his hand in his pants.
The man continued to follow the buses in his vehicle as they made their way through the borough, police said.
The suspect pulled his genitals out in plain view two times, according to the account of parents on the buses.
Investigators identified 57-year-old Michael Rudy of Boiling Springs as the suspect.
Rudy later admitted to investigators that he had his genitals exposed for no particular reason.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure.
