Homeless man charged in assault that left victim in serious condition

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have charged a homeless man with assault and robbery after a man was found bloodied and bruised in Lancaster earlier this month.

Marquan Anthony Boyer was charged in the Nov. 4 incident. He is currently at Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.

Police said they discovered the 18-year-old victim around 3:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Marietta Avenue.

The victim was bleeding from his face and had serious injuries that required surgery, according to police. He was unresponsive to questions.

At last check, the victim was listed in serious condition.
