PITTSBURGH (AP) – A preliminary hearing has been delayed for a Pennsylvania man charged with child endangerment charges because police say he didn’t call 911 while the mother of his 17-month-old son killed the boy while sending the man two hours’ worth of angry text messages, pictures and videos.
Monday’s hearing for 23-year-old Andre Price Jr. was delayed until Dec. 12. His defense attorney didn’t immediately return a call for comment.
Allegheny County police say the McKeesport man didn’t alert authorities even though 21-year-old Christian Clark sent him videos of his son’s limp body Nov. 1 and threats to kill the child
Clark remains jailed on a homicide charge for allegedly smothering the boy and attempted homicide for attempting to do the same to their 2-year-old daughter. Her preliminary hearing is Wednesday.
