Kenyan choir visits Lancaster County, thanks donors for help

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) Some members of the Kenyan choir ‘Light Future’ performed in Lancaster County as a way to thank donors who helped their village.

Back in 2015, a group of Hempfield High School students raised money for the non-profit The Maisha Project. It supports more than 700 children many of them are orphans. The money raised by Hempfield High helped build a playground for the students.

Four of the choir members performed in Lancaster County. They also performed one of their songs on abc27 News Daybreak.
