One dies following Lebanon crash

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – One person has died as the result of a crash Wednesday in Lebanon.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 10:40 a.m. at South 9th and Chestnut streets.

According to police, a truck traveling north on South 9th Street entered the intersection on a red light and struck a car traveling through a green light. The car was pushed into a fire hydrant and came to rest against a metal light pole.

Sixty-year-old Hector Ivan Primental-Objio of Lebanon was a passenger in the car. He was taken to a medical facility with injuries and later died.

Another passenger in the car was treated and released.

The drivers of both the truck and car were not injured.
