Denver man charged in bat attack

DENVER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Denver man has been charged with aggravated assault after police say he attacked a man with a baseball bat.

Brian Christopher Pfennig, 32, is also charged with stalking in connection with Wednesday’s incident near the 1600 block of Girl Scout Road.

Police responded to the scene and found the victim with a severe laceration to the back of his head.

It’s alleged that Pfenning harassed the man over an extended period of time and the attack stemmed from an argument.

Pfenning was arrested at his home Thursday in the 1400 block of Girl Scout Road.

The victim was transported to Lancaster General Hospital where he’s injuries have been determined to be non-life threatening.
