CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Project SHARE says no donation is too small to brighten Thanksgiving for more than 1,500 community members in need.
The Carlisle facility is accepting monetary and food donations, including turkeys, stuffing mix, canned sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn, and dessert mix.
Founder and Executive Director Elaine Livas hopes others can enjoy the same luxuries we sometimes take for granted.
“Our hope is that, with the generosity of our donors, we will be able to provide a bountiful Thanksgiving for those in need within our community,” said Elaine Livas.
Donations must be received by Monday, Nov. 14, to be part of the Thanksgiving collection.
To make a donation call Project SHARE at 717-249-773 or visit projectsharepa.org. Monetary donations are multiplied by Project SHARE’s ability to buy products at a discounted rate.
