Millersburg man headed to trial on child rape charges

MILLERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A northern Dauphin County man jailed on charges he repeatedly raped a teenage girl is headed to trial.

All charges against Jody M. Wilson were held for court after a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

Police say Wilson, 47, of Millersburg, molested the girl since she was 7 years old and raped her since she was 12.

The girl told authorities that Wilson promised her gifts and did not wear protection. She said at one point when he feared she was pregnant, he told her, “we can get you an abortion.”

Wilson remains jailed in Dauphin County Prison on $100,000 bail. He is charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors.
