After a beautiful Election Day, today will bring scattered showers and cooler temperatures. A front will bring light showers to the region through early this afternoon before the rain shuts off and clouds decrease heading into tonight. Don’t expect much rain, however. Most locations will probably pick up a quarter inch or less. Highs today will be in the mid 50s with a stiff breeze developing from the northwest.
Tomorrow and Friday will also be seasonable and breezy. Another front delivers an even colder shot for the upcoming weekend. That front arrives Friday night with only a few clouds. But once again it turns windy Friday night into Saturday morning. Saturday’s high temperatures will be stuck in the 40s, the coldest air of this young season! The chilly weather is short-lived, as we bounce back into the 50s with more sunshine by Sunday.
