On this Election Day, expect a mild afternoon once again after a chilly start. There could be frost again in spots early today before the sun comes out in full force and high temperatures climb into the mid 60s. Clouds increase late today and tonight ahead of a cold front that will cross the Commonwealth early tomorrow. Expect a few, stray showers developing overnight with lows falling into the upper 40s.
The cold front sweeping over the area tomorrow could bring a stray morning shower, followed by blustery winds for the rest of the day as a brief shot of colder air enters the area. Thursday will be seasonably chilly and breezy. Another front arrives Friday. We don’t expect any rain, but it will produce a cold and blustery Saturday with winds 10-20 mph and afternoon temperatures only in the 40s! Other than those few stray showers tomorrow morning, rain chances look slim into early next week. Stay tuned!
