ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) – Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey waited until the last minute to announce he voted for Donald Trump in the presidential race.
When pressed about whether he would cast a vote for Trump, Toomey dodged the question for quite some time.
Finally, at his campaign gathering in Allentown Tuesday night, Toomey said he reluctantly voted for the GOP presidential nominee.
Toomey is running against Democratic opponent Katie McGinty. The outcome of their race could determine whether Republicans maintain Senate control.
